After Building Cleaners

If you’ve recently had building work done on your home or property, then you may well have quite a mess left on your plate. Unless you’ve paid for a cleaning job to be included in a building job, you’ll find that building companies are under no obligation to and won’t providing any cleaning after they’ve finished their job. So if you’ve not paid for it to be included in your construction contract you really only have two options; clean it yourself or hire a cleaning company who offers after building cleaning.

Cleaning agencies which offer services in this area have a number of advantages to doing it yourself:

  • Firstly, you should be aware that a lot of building materials are very slightly toxic; even if the level of toxicity they have isn’t enough to be regulated, professionals trained in dealing with the dust particles left over after a building job are better able to avoid any harm than you are.
  • Secondly, it can be quite difficult to completely clean after construction jobs, and you may find that what is left over can be quite substantial. The scale of the work involved in cleaning everything to a presentable level could be far above a couple of hours of work, so hiring a team of cleaners with their specialist equipment is certainly a good option.
  • Thirdly, any cleaning equipment you’ve got could be unsuitable for cleaning up the type of materials left after construction work, potentially leaving you with a broken vacuum cleaner and more.
